OPORTUNIDADES LABORALES
Full Time (32 hours per week)
Role Overview: The Arizona Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Mountain Mamas’ Arizona program, ensuring smooth implementation of grants, events, and communications. They serve as the main point of contact for the Arizona team, support staff and community engagement, and collaborate with leadership to advance program goals and impact. They will ensure effective program operations, foster community connections, and support the growth and sustainability of Mountain Mamas in Arizona.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grant & Program Management: Oversee day-to-day grant deliverables and ensure reporting requirements are met.
- Member & Volunteer Coordination: Recruit and mobilize volunteers to participate in initiatives such as letters to the editor (LTEs), op-eds, advocacy campaigns, and other community actions.
- Event & Community Engagement: Organize events, tabling, and community outreach initiatives.
- Team Oversight: Support and supervise the Arizona grassroots organizer (a new position targeted for Q2 2026).
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with local decision-makers, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Communications & Social Media: Manage social media accounts (ie. Facebook and Instagram) and assist with communications efforts to increase program visibility.
- Strategic Planning: Establish biannual workplans and organizing strategies.
- Staff Collaboration: Attend all staff calls and serve as the primary liaison between the Arizona team and broader Mountain Mamas staff.
- Fundraising Support: Assist with fundraising efforts and resource development as directed by Development Director/ED.
- Data & Impact Tracking: Track program metrics and outcomes to measure impact and inform future strategies. Maintain participant and event databases.
- Program Development Support: Contribute ideas for new initiatives, programming, or partnerships that align with Mountain Mamas’ mission.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Address challenges in real-time and adjust plans as needed to meet program goals.
- Mentorship & Staff Support: Support and mentor new staff or interns as the team grows.
- Equity & Inclusion Focus: Ensure programs are accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive.
Compensation + Benefits:
- Annual salary of $58,000 – $65,000 depending on experience
- 32 hour per week full time employment
- All federal holidays plus 1 week between Christmas and New Years and 1 week surrounding 4th of July paid vacation, annually
- Additional 2 weeks of paid vacation
- $2,000 technology/work from home stipend, every 3 years
- 2% retirement match
- Flexible, work-from-home schedule
