Como es mi modus operandi t\u00edpico, abr\u00ed una pesta\u00f1a en mi navegador web (hay muchas, muchas, muchas pesta\u00f1as abiertas en mi navegador web) con buenas intenciones de verla de inmediato. Desafortunadamente, la atenci\u00f3n me llev\u00f3 a otra parte y r\u00e1pidamente volv\u00ed a trabajar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante los \u00faltimos meses he estado muy nerviosa en lo que respecta al trabajo. He fracasado varias veces, pero he trabajado duro, he seguido aprendiendo much\u00edsimo y tambi\u00e9n he conseguido muchos \u00e9xitos. Pero, como muchos estadounidenses saben muy bien, ser due\u00f1o de una empresa y dirigir una organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro es dif\u00edcil, estresante, incierto y hay que estar preparado para afrontar muchos fracasos en el camino. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En los \u00faltimos meses, como suelen hacer las mujeres, comenc\u00e9 a cuestionar mis habilidades, mis talentos y mi experiencia. Trabajo en un campo dominado por hombres. Como muchas mujeres est\u00e1n condicionadas a actuar, llevo a\u00f1os PIDIENDO sentarme a la mesa. Y de vez en cuando me sale uno. Y en lugar de exigir otro asiento para mis colegas femeninas, me animan a sentirme afortunada de estar all\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos para organizaciones sin fines de lucro es un desaf\u00edo y una tarea constante. En Mamas constantemente solicitamos subvenciones, nos reunimos con posibles donantes y reunimos fondos para poder continuar haciendo un trabajo fundamental para nuestra misi\u00f3n de hacer crecer las voces de las mujeres en la conservaci\u00f3n, permitir que nuestras familias accedan a tierras y agua p\u00fablicas y cultivar la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de mujeres l\u00edderes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mientras estaba en la ducha esta ma\u00f1ana, preocup\u00e1ndome por si la financiaci\u00f3n iba a llegar o no, con la esperanza de que me pidieran nuevamente que me sentara a la mesa, me invadi\u00f3 un simple pensamiento: esa mesa nos pertenece. No necesitamos una invitaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\u00ed que finalmente me sent\u00e9 y vi el discurso de graduaci\u00f3n de Abby Wombach. Como organizaci\u00f3n que lidera y hace crecer a las generaciones actuales y futuras de mujeres lo suficientemente valientes como para defender nuestras tierras y aguas p\u00fablicas, tenemos cinco palabras para nuestros colegas conservacionistas, nuestros financiadores y nuestros funcionarios electos: \u00a1D\u00c9NOS LA PELOTA!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Realmente hay tantas joyas en el discurso de Amy; No podemos empezar a hacerles justicia a todos. Pero quiz\u00e1s lo m\u00e1s importante sea el liderazgo, y la crianza de los hijos es la forma de liderazgo m\u00e1s grande, audaz y valiente. Todos los d\u00edas somos modelos para nuestros hijos, no s\u00f3lo lo que ellos quisieran ser.
